Arts Award

The Arts Award is a national qualification which supports young people in their development as artists and arts leaders. Doing an Arts Award will help young people to develop their creative skills and ability to communicate well and lead projects. The Arts Award is useful for getting further education opportunities in the arts and in other fields.

You can achieve the Arts Award if you are aged 11-25 and take part in the arts at your school or youth project, or with an arts organisation or youth arts scheme. There Award is offered at three levels in Bronze, Silver and Gold on the National Qualifications Framework.

If you are a young person you can take the Arts Award by getting involved with ADeC youth projects. www.artsaward.org.uk

Helayna and Mikayla are both working on their Silver Arts Award. As part of the award they have both been to see live performances and written reviews on what they watched.
