Ely’s annual Eel Day 2013
Join ADeC from 10am on Cross Greeen near the Cathedral to help carry Neel the Eel in the procession down to Jubilee Gardens.

Ely’s annual Eel Day. 10.30pm - 4pm Follow the eel parade from Cross Green next to Ely Cathedral through the centre of the city down to Jubilee Garden where activities, games, stalls, live music and performances take place.
Eels, eels and more eels will be the flavour of the day for Ely’s Annual Eel Day. Starting at 10.30 am from Cross Green (adjacent to the Cathedral) ADeC's Neel the Eel’ will be heading the carnival like procession along part of the City’s Eel Trail Heritage Walk. Everybody is welcome to join in the procession. The procession is headed by Ely’s Samba Band who will lead the line down to the Waterside and into Jubilee Gardens where a whole host of eel related activities will be held along with a full programme of arena events including musical performances, children’s activities and historical re-enactments there will be lots of family participation opportunities.
