Barbara & Raphael Wallfisch performing Brahms Double Concerto in Ely Cathdral
Honorary President Raphael Wallfisch returns to perform with the orchestra for a third time. The orchestra is delighted to welcome not only Raphael, on ‘cello, but also his wife Elizabeth on violin. The programme will start with Smetana’s Vltava, followed by the Brahm’s Double Concerto for Violin and ‘Cello. We will finish with the ever popular Dvorak 8 Symphony. The concert date is Saturday 18 October 2014, only just one month away!

As a very special addition to the evening, there is the opportunity to ask questions of 95-year-old John Lowe, a survivor of the Japanese Labour Camps, and to view his drawing of the camps.
