Ely’s Eel Day, Jubilee Gardens, Ely. Eels, eels and more eels will be the flavour of the day. Procession starts from Cross Green (adjacent to the Cathedral) with a procession of 'Ellie the Eel' with Ely Samba Band. City of Ely Waits, Town Crier's Competition, Children’s Theatre, Eel throwing.
