Become a Friend of ADeC and help support our work
If you enjoy the arts and want to support local cultural life why not become a Friend of ADeC?
ADeC is a unique organisation, with a small core of professional staff and a huge number of volunteers, all working together to bring high quality arts to local communities in Cambridgeshire.
We organise live theatre, comedy and music events, run the Ely Cinema, Babylon Gallery, [act] the rural touring scheme for Cambridgeshire, arts projects with young people, and many, many other opportunities for people to take part in the arts. You can find out more about the full range of our activities at our website www.adec.org.uk.
All of these have a cost. In fact, it costs us over £300,000 a year to run all our activities, much of which comes from fundraising and income from events. Our Friends and regular donors already help raise much needed funds, helping to keep our Gallery open, providing free family art activities, and supporting our work with young people.
In recognition of your support, Friends receive advance notice of all ADeC’s activities, invitations to private views, priority booking, and occasional special offers on ADeC events. Friends are also invited to the Annual General Meeting of ADeC, where you are able to have a say in the future direction of the charity.
If you would like to help us provide local access to the arts please join us as a Friend, click here for application form.
Your support is invaluable. I look forward to welcoming you as a Friend,
Jane Wilson, Director
