Our beautiful Cinema is housed in the Maltings on Ely’s picturesque riverside. Every month we've got everything on offer from entertaining family films, blockbusters, to arts house films. Tickets for all our regular evening films cost £7/£6 (£1 discount for Ely Cinema members) matinee screenings: £6.50/£5.50 (£1 discount for Ely Cinema Members. Tickets are available online from our box office Tel: 01353 616991and in person from the ADeC Box Office at the Babylon Gallery, Waterside, Ely. Prices of our live screenings vary, check individual screenings for full details, trailers and to book tickets. . March  films include returns of The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything (including an additional evening screening on 10th March), Paddington & Testament of Youth. New releases include Oscar Best Picture Birdman, Wild, American Sniper, Big Hero 6, Kingman and Shaun the Sheep. Live screenings in March : RSC Live Love's Labour Won, NT Live : Behind the Beautiful Forevers and A View from the Bridge and Maxine Peake as Hamlet from Manchester's Royal Exchange.

Love film? One of the best ways to support your local cinema is to join our annual membership scheme. You'll receive some  priority booking for special events, free voucher tickets, £1 off each Members’ ticket every time come and a 10% discount off all food & drink at the Maltings (terms & conditions apply). From 1st December Annual Single Membership costs £20 (two free tickets). Annual Dual Membership for two people at one address £30 (four free tickets). Burrows Bookshop have been supporting ADeC since 2005, helping sell our tickets for Ely Cinema and live events. They generously provide us with a free box office service despite being a busy bookshop. Burrows Bookshop, High Street Passage, Ely is the City’s oldest established bookshop, specialising in children’s books, local interest and book related products. Inspiring everyone to enjoy books and reading they also run Word Perfect Book Club and Word Perfect Parties.

Ely Cinema launches Going Digital Campaign (docx | )

Ely Cinema has just launched its ‘Going Digital campaign to raise £42,000 to buy and install digital projection equipment. The community cinema based at the Maltings is run by local arts charity ADeC with the help of volunteers and  part-time professional projection and duty manager staff.
