Catherine Zeta-Jones plays a housewife named Sandy who moves to New York City with her two kids following her husband's marital misdemeanours. Downsizing to a small city apartment above a coffee shop is far from an ideal relocation, but then Sandy strikes up a friendship with handsome young Aram (Justin Bartha, THE HANGOVER) who's stuck in a loveless marriage of his own. As the pair bond over their respective relationship woes, romance blossoms, but before long they start to question if it's for real, or whether they're
blinded by loneliness. While the formula may seem trite, THE REBOUND is an altogether adult rom-com that tackles the aftermath of break-ups in refreshingly candid fashion.
