The Babylon Gallery on Ely's Waterside is run by ADeC with the help of a team of volunteers. Our varied annual programme includes exhibitions from local, regional and national artists alongside national touring exhibitions. (The ADeC box office is still open Mon-Fri 10am - 4pm)

'Rapunzel's Shout' is a personal museum of curiosities created by Artist and Firefighter, Emily Haysom. It is the culmination of an Arts Council funded residency with Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, showing an individual view of adaptation and development as a female firefighter.

A Creative Space

The Babylon space is now available for workshops, films and small scale events. 

An intimate, contemporary venue in a converted brewery warehouse ideally located next to Ely's Waterside. 

Room hire starts from just £50+VAT, evenings available (day hire sometimes available). There is an option to book digital projection kit, screen and sound equipment. Tea, coffee and other refreshments available at a small additional charge. Access to small catering area for event staff. 

Capacity: 40 seated theatre style, 60 standing, 20 seated with tables.
