The starting point was the regeneration of the Isle of Dogs and Canary Wharf, and the seven textile artists have used a variety of techniques - felting, machine embroidery, layering, hand stitching, quilting and shibori to translate their ideas.
stitch-links is a new exciting group of textile artists from London and East Anglia. Their work explores contemporary themes and techniques from seven very different perspectives. This is their first exhibition and the work comprises their personal responses to London Docklands.
