Babylon Gallery

Linked to her work for the Body Moved exhibition at the Babylon Gallery on Ely’s Waterside, artist Jane Frost invites you to join her on a walking conversation at Ely Waterside on Sunday 28 November from 11am. Body Moved features work from over 20 artists from the Ouse Life Drawing Group.  Jane’s work which is linked to the gallery exhibition consists of a series of four life size willow figures, installed along the Riverside stretching from the new Country Park to Jubilee Gardens. She is encouraging us to think about the effect our walk will have and the relationship we have with the environment. Meet at the Babylon Gallery 11a.m. Return at approximately 1 pm. depending on weather. 

There will be a series of conversations and activities – the walk itself will be accessible to anyone, mainly on footpaths. All ages welcome but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please remember to wear appropriate clothing, including waterproof shoes or boots. You may also want to bring a flask of something hot to drink and something to eat.
