Richard Heeps : 'A View of The Fens From a Car With Wings'

Jane Wilson, Director said ‘We have been working very hard behind the scenes to ensure ADeC continues to deliver local access to high quality arts in East Cambridgeshire’. She continued ‘I am delighted that we have been able to secure our premises for the next 12 months with the support of East Cambridgeshire District Council. The response from local and regional artists has been fantastic and we are now looking to build on support from the local community to help us open the Gallery over the weekends. The success of recent fundraising activities, in particular our poster sale which raised over £1,500, will enable us to bring in the popular National Touring Exhibitions to the Gallery as well giving a platform to some of the best contemporary visual artists and craftspeople working in the region. ’

‘We are very pleased to welcome back Richard Heeps as the first exhibition in our exciting new programme. ‘A View of the Fens …’ brings together some of Richard’s best and most distinctive colour photographs of the Fens. ‘

We would love to hear from anyone interested in volunteering to help us open our Gallery, for more information please give us a call on 01353 616991.
