Babylon Gallery, Waterside, Ely, CB7 4AU. Ink is an exciting collection of powerful new work by two East Anglian artists, Steven Bramble and Cary Outis, all of it in black and white.
This is the culmination of a two year project making hundreds of drawings, prints and paintings, varying in size from A5 to huge. Over fifty pieces will be on display in the exhibition, which runs until March 28th. Cary Outis said, "The limitation of working in monochrome challenged us as artists to take new chances and follow unexpected possibilities". Steven Bramble added, "We've each worked from the human figure but the results are strikingly different".
This is a splendid chance to catch up with the work of two artists passionately concerned with honesty, creativity and skill.
Open: Tues – Sun 12 noon – 4pm
